Project Owner: National Defence College (NDC)
Description:
Swapnoloke is proud to have successfully developed and deployed a specialized Online Assessment Software for the prestigious Bangladesh National Defence College (NDC), supporting the Armed Forces War Course (AFWC). This platform is tailored to manage the unique structure, multi-level evaluations, and cross-service academic environment essential to training senior officers of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Designed to uphold military precision and academic integrity, the software offers a centralized, secure, and scalable solution for course administration, student management, subject assignment, and multi-tiered assessment moderation.
Features:

Multi-Branch Student & Role Management

Three distinct student categories: Army, Navy, and Air Force.

User roles: DS (Directing Staff), SI (Senior Instructor), CI (Chief Instructor), Commandant, and Operator.

Operators can register students by course, ensuring structured enrollment workflows.

Subject Structuring by Exercise Type

  • Two primary exercise categories:

                    - Service Subjects: Army,    Navy, or Air-specific.

                     - Joint Subjects: Cross-service collaboration exercises.

  • Subjects are distributed across 4 academic terms, and each subject is mapped accordingly.

Dynamic Subject & Staff Assignment

  • DSs (Directing Staff) can be assigned to multiple subjects, regardless of service type.
  • Students are assigned to specific subjects based on course and exercise type.

Multi-Tiered Evaluation System

The AFWC software features a 5-layered assessment process, ensuring a balanced and hierarchical review of each student’s performance.

Initial Assessment (DS Marks)

- DS provides subject-specific evaluation per assigned student.

Moderation by SI

 - SI reviews and moderates the DS assessments to ensure uniformity

CI Moderation

 - CI further moderates the assessments to uphold academic standards and fairness.

Commandant’s Impressions

 - The Commandant assigns impression-based marks for each subject, adding leadership evaluation context.

Final Moderation (DS)

  - DS re-validates and finalizes assessments after all moderation phases.

After all four terms are completed, the system automatically generates final results, including cumulative performance and merit-based student positioning.

Project Impact

This solution brings a digital revolution to the assessment process of one of the most strategic and intellectually demanding military training programs. It ensures transparency, chain-of-command moderation, and academic fairness—critical to evaluating future leaders of Bangladesh’s Armed Forces.

This project demonstrates Swapnoloke’s ability to deliver domain-specific, high-security software solutions that align with defense institutions' standards and structures.
