Description:	Swapnoloke Software Company proudly developed a YARDSTICK management software tailored for the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC). This high-integrity system is designed to streamline, secure, and modernize the multifaceted academic evaluation process of mid-career military officers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The YARDSTICK platform supports an institution-wide digital transformation in assessment and academic performance tracking, fostering transparency, accuracy, and operational efficiency at every evaluation stage.
Features:	Multi-Tiered Assessment Workflow: YARDSTICK features a five-stage evaluation pipeline starting from Directing Staff (DS) input, followed by Senior Instructor (SI) moderation, Chief Instructor (CI) verification, Commandant impression marking, and concluding with a DS moderation round. This layered approach ensures a robust and fair assessment process. Role-Based Dashboard & Access Control: Tailored dashboards for different user types—Super Admin, DS, SI, CI, Wing Admin, and Manager—ensure users access only relevant modules and actions. Each role has specific permissions, such as unlocking marks, assigning impression scores, or locking academic terms. Term-Wise Modular Structure: All assessments are organized term-wise. Wing Admins can assign SI/CI to terms, manage course IDs, and relate exercises to terms, making academic structuring intuitive and manageable. Assessment Types & Exercise Handling: The software supports Service Exercises (within one force) and Joint Exercises (involving Army, Navy, and Air Force). This ensures uniformity across inter-services training modules. Advanced Result Reporting: From detailed individual profile reports to syndicate-wise summaries, graphical performance analytics, term result breakdowns (in % and weighted scores), and course progress evaluations, the reporting module empowers instructors and administrators to make informed academic decisions. Audit & Moderation Tracking: The system logs all moderation actions, including mark locking/unlocking requests, ensuring an auditable trail for all evaluations. Impact Delivered The YARDSTICK Assessment Software has transformed DSCSC’s evaluation process into a digitally driven, multi-layered, and data-secure system, helping academic leaders efficiently manage one of the most critical components of military education. The software’s scalable architecture makes it adaptable for other academic institutions requiring similar rigor, structure, and confidentiality.
